@wildstwawberry Ik everyone is saying Riftbound, but tbh if possible I'd try to stay away from something competitive. Riftbound is great, but I think you'd fall into the same trap. I took up golf and mmorpg's [Lost Ark/OS Runescape]
@wildstwawberry I quit for 3 or 4 years but kept meeting up with the mtg gang for food/social things outside of mtg. The only way for me to get out of it was cut off accessibility, so I sold like 90% of my playable collection. Eventually my gf bought me a commander deck and here we are
@DroodHT puts a bounty on my head in my first modern event since Yorion was legal, so ofc I miss lethal with an insane Gemstone hand and lose in 3 with Ruby Storm. Grats to my opp who won these for beating me
@Schillerverse@Helthurian@syncd_collect So you want a company that wants a good card game to keep the cards scarce... so people can't play the card game?...
@PlumSojuYang If I go directly from work, I usually have time to grab something. TCG doesn't drain me after work for whatever reason. It's like it's my "rest"
@Jace_TCG So you want a business to take $100 of their cards and swap it for $100 of your cards? What exactly did they gain? Unless theirs are harder to move and yours are liquid they don't gain that much. Even then, they don't gain that much
I'm playing Nexus Night and I asked my first round opponent "Did you get there?" After round 2, to which he replied "Get where?". Am I old? Do we not say that anymore? #riftbound
@Asefron29 Even across other tcgs, unless you get very lucky, opening a box has always been a gamble. You should only open sealed product if you enjoy that or just enjoy opening packs. Singles has always been the way.
thank you so much to @EmilyDeleeuw20 for this george bobblehead from the era of houston baseball when i first became a fan of his! this is everything to me😭
@GhaelWindss Wish they'd just get rid of the seeded pack and make legends tokens so you can play what you want. Maybe add a couple of more packs to balance it out
