Californians are having a hard time deciding which candidate to support for governor. If we had STAR Voting we would be able to support as many candidates as we like!
Try STAR out here with a bonus of trying out Ranked Choice Voting too: https://t.co/sY3IZhaTxG

@5STARCalifornia If you are in California, please sign the petition to upgrade elections to Approval Voting plus a top two runoff. If you are not in California, please share this with your California friends and family! https://t.co/szPJVyKdvW 🧵 ⬇️
Our incredible @5STARCalifornia chapter is hard at work. They have seen how the top-two California primary for governor is causing controversy due to the potential for vote-splitting. But they are not just sitting around. They are working on a solution! 🧵 ⬇️
Want to share your love of STAR Voting in your community? Try writing an Op-Ed or letter to the editor!
Check the word limits and guidelines for your local paper. Op-Eds are generally longer, while letters to the editor are generally shorter (and more likely to be accepted).
If you want help proof-reading your submission, get plugged in with our volunteer community! https://t.co/RfowF2d15e
If your letter gets accepted, let us know!

With STAR Voting, it's safe to vote your conscience, and you don't have to worry about voting for the 'lesser of two evils' or wasting your vote. If your favorite can't win, your vote automatically goes to the finalist you prefer.

The Plurality top-2 primary has the same expressivity and spoiler problems as the status quo. Although the top-2 phase helps, we need a system like STAR or Approval Top-2 to truly solve the problem. Read more at https://t.co/Bg7bIc1hIO
With its problems laid bare by the California Governor's race it's important to remember that Top Two is still more accurate than traditional primaries and a general with one candidate from each party -- but there's definitely room for improvement.
https://t.co/Ps7Uh2RSDi had its biggest election so far! Almost 12,000 @IndiCAStatewide voters chimed in to share their views on who should be California's next governor.
