STAR Voting: We should be able to vote our conscience, our votes should never be wasted, and our elections should accurately reflect the will of the people.
300+ participants have already voted in our STAR and Ranked Choice Voting mock election for the 2026 California Governor.
If you haven’t voted already, last day to vote is tomorrow 6/2 at 11:59PM!

More and more people identify as independents or as members of a third party. Why then, does politics continue to behave as if these voters don't exist?
The problem is that the way we typically vote mathematically trends towards two-party domination.

Want to share your love of STAR Voting in your community? Try writing an Op-Ed or letter to the editor!
Check the word limits and guidelines for your local paper. Op-Eds are generally longer, while letters to the editor are generally shorter (and more likely to be accepted).
With STAR Voting, it's safe to vote your conscience, and you don't have to worry about voting for the 'lesser of two evils' or wasting your vote. If your favorite can't win, your vote automatically goes to the finalist you prefer.
