@ProdigyCrashout@STRUGGLE546@FrostyWithCans@Fortnite Never said he wasn't, only that he's a horror icon and household name for 42 years. It's very different to include someone like him vs characters from a movie released a couple months ago. I don't think any should be in the game, but comparing them to Freddy was a bad comparison.
@ProdigyCrashout@STRUGGLE546@FrostyWithCans@Fortnite Respectfully, Freddy Krueger is probably one of their least problematic horror collabs. Not only are the movies tame in comparison, but he's also a top 3 horror icon, and one of the most common Halloween costumes. Kids all around the globe know who he is.
@XeoNe0n@folvann People need to learn how to separate objective from subjective. It's a powerful skill to analyse something you like, acknowledge its flaws, and still proudly enjoy it. People also need to learn not to take valid criticisms of their favourite things as personal insults.
@MoonHunt128@Vaz_G999@DS2LightingMod@folvann Yes, you're right. But it isn't an unprecedented assumption that Bluepoint's Demon's Souls remake influenced FromSoft's decision to protect Bloodborne.

@NysaDL@androgenic_ I agree with your critiques of the motivation, but you have to apply a fake it till you make it approach here. Even if someone changes for selfish reasons, they are still pushing themselves out of their echo chamber, which could make them truly change.
@XBT_Whisperer@Dexerto It's evolution, the same way a lot of bed bugs have become resistant/immune to insecticides. I like to call Paris fashion week the bed bug boutique.
@RealOg2pac@TheMechVoid@ssunheejippery Modders aren't doing charity work. A lot of the time its a single dev or a small team adding a feature to the game they want themselves, and then release it for other like-minded players. It's love for an art, not a business.
@AmeliaAlle77260@Jorge_Most@Fortnite Disagree. Iβm not defending skin exclusivity because itβs dumb. Many old skins are ugly, and their value is mainly that theyβre unobtainable. If released again, people would care less and there would be no profit.
