Futsal in England is under attack! We urgently call upon @OliverDowden, @DCMS & @Sport_England to hold @FA accountable for their decisions. Sign here to support our campaign https://t.co/UmLjsg9Dzi #FutsalForAll
@Chris_Shaw11 It's really sad that the 11-a-side game seems to be all that they're bothered about when the vast majority of amateur players actually play a different format.
I understand the FA needing to prioritise what makes the money, but this seems a sad step too far.
Just as it looked like futsal was returning and pushing on, this huge news is a massive blow.
Significant and sad news for anyone interested in futsal in England.

Who loves 5-a-side?
Quick tempo footy, balls off walls, did he go into the box?, over head height, dodgy refs, lucozade, rain, astroturf, sliding tackles, roll on roll off, 20 goals a game, Power League, banter, after-game Macdonalds.
@AJ_Dream18@stevescott_itv@refsupportuk Nice kid or not, if you do that in the street you get a knock on the door from the police. It should be no different here.
@JackGrasby@tomsan106 2) don't push it. I don't want to be that parent. If he's not enjoying it, then no more than 5 mins is needed (and maybe none at all). If he likes it, we'll do longer but not more than 15.
3) plenty of encouragement.
🤞let's see how it goes.
@tomsan106 I've just read your book. Very interesting indeed. But here's a question:
How do you approach the child who doesn't find it intrinsically interesting at first. How do you get them to do ball mastery, and how hard do you push.
Would love to hear your thoughts.
@JackGrasby@tomsan106 In the end, I thought: "I'm not going to push it" and we did 5 mins then called it a day.
I'm going to give this a go over the next month and then take stock. My approach will be:
1) try to do it daily and establish a routine.
