Honestly, everything this religion promises in heaven is already pretty easy for a modern person to get right here. Except for that 'non-intoxicating wine'—if it doesn't get you drunk, why even drink it?
@AliSafa52@Greenfi27415790@nonoko_nekomofu@sultanah_ff "A river of honey" might sound like paradise to a 7th-century nomad, but I’m fructose intolerant.
You assume everyone shares your material cravings. Buddhism seeks Nirvana—transcending worldly desire—not an eternity of physical indulgence. Keep your honey; we seek liberation.
Notice what they demand from us: laws and respect. What do they offer in return? Conversion to their book, or eternal burning in a made-up hell. That is their core: hiding behind "peace" and "religious freedom" while offering others only two choices—convert or be damned.
@ASMACRYPTOL@Rperezb81@javiernegre10 As a Buddhist—a "Kafir" according to their belief—their core doctrine explicitly condemns me to eternal hellfire. It is right there in their sacred book. Why on earth should I respect and welcome an ideology that denies my right to exist?
@MundoDTP@javiernegre10 As a Buddhist—classified as a "Kafir" in their doctrine—it’s completely natural not to welcome it. Why should Buddhists accept or accommodate an ideology that explicitly condemns us to hellfire simply for who we are?And I love bacon.
@AliSafa52@midagroyper@nonoko_nekomofu@sultanah_ff If "sent down" (anzalna) in 57:25 means iron fell from space, did livestock fall from space too? Quran 39:6 says Allah "sent down 8 head of cattle", and 7:26 says He "sent down clothing". Metaphorical language isn't modern science. Confirmation bias isn't proof.
@AliSafa52@midagroyper@nonoko_nekomofu@sultanah_ff Hubble published in 1929, not 1910. Also, Caliph Uthman literally ordered the burning of other manuscript variants to standardize text. If the book was unchanged down to every letter, what was he burning?
@Heecr77@CchIMaAs@sultanah_ff@javiernegre10 As a Chinese person, I certainly wouldn't take the side of the Japanese. I can say with absolute certainty that it is utterly ridiculous for a Muslim to accuse the Japanese of being pedophiles. After all, the Japanese wouldn't worship a bastard who married a nine-year-old bride.
@MarioNawfal@IntCyberDigest When even “save lives first” can be beaten by procedure and ideology, the rule of law is just theater; Britain needs to put common sense back in charge.
