@JillBelch Serious point: The scientific method dismisses outliers and is inherently conservative. So every study underestimates progress.
Scientists have not adjusted for this to everyone's detriment.

@liamdutton When you say "this is because there is a southerly wind.." that's quite misleading.
There are often southerly winds.
Recent southerly winds are bringing hotter temps because climate change makes Spain hotter than normal.
