The point is that their celebrity status means that they don't have to compete for publication on the quality of the work, regardless how good it is.
@JillBelch Serious point: The scientific method dismisses outliers and is inherently conservative. So every study underestimates progress.
Scientists have not adjusted for this to everyone's detriment.

There are often southerly winds.
Recent southerly winds are bringing hotter temps because climate change makes Spain hotter than normal.
