The Eagle Creek Trail has re-opened after the 2017 #eaglecreekfire. As is almost always the case, the damage is not as bad as a lot of people may have thought. Biggest change, really, is a big side at Punchbowl Falls viewpoint. Photos and a few thoughts at https://t.co/3yVq1e06Km

The exact spot on the #PCT where I decided to head back to Lolo Pass. It's one thing to slip in the snow, but in places like this, when you're alone ... just no. This was north of the pass; south was *much* better.

Mount Hood from Lolo Pass. I got up there this week with my Kia Soul, so you can get almost any car up there! Great snowy walks from the pass.

End of a lovey day spent on the snowy #PCT from Lolo Pass at #MtHood. The road is open and drivable for now, so head up there for great views and easy woodsy walking.
