@balancedsoil Even when working a fast line into F3 true autos then reverse your favorite female into an F4 then lock it in from there down to F7 uniform table IBL. Take a couple IBL stable lines and make a new F1 uniform stable line. But who cares if its F1 stable or F7 stable.
@balancedsoil In regards to the actual facts of this beef. There is value in selecting a male and female in each generation. The loudness comes from the male a lot of the times. Blocking half the dna with a reversal too early in the filial generations creates problematic plants IMO.
@skunkcityseeds@TheGrassMenagry Simple picture books are needed for the people who can't read. Not surprised you have copies of these. For those low IQ people.
@skunkcityseeds The first generation isnt inbred? I feel like the S1 is inbred. From there you just reduce variance by 50% per generation. The terminology spin master is at it again.
@skunkcityseeds@balancedsoil@grok Wild how someone looking to push beans is such a public cancer sore. Bitching about scientific terminology, arguing with AI, arguing with the community just to stand alone in the valley of wrong. Good luck being the most abbrasive company online. Your not B Eazy chill out.
@skunkcityseeds@balancedsoil@grok Filial generation is irrelevant. Just look for stablized worked lines if you want uniformity. That may come at F5. Who cares if you want inbred then buy IBL. Filial Generation doesn't matter.
@skunkcityseeds@balancedsoil@grok You seem to be confusing agricultural F1 stable lines vs the true definition of F1. It is true that F1's can be stable. Not even half of F1's are stable. How yhey are marketed is a different arguement. Wide open genetics or IBL. I'd rather hunt good genetics vs IBL personally.
@skunkcityseeds F1 doesn't mean stable. Your expectations of F1 is weird. Just because its the First Filial Generation of a plant doesn't mean its stable. Or are you too lazy to hunt??? People pay 100k a pheno for the "one"...But ok go rage on some more people. Should be good for sales.
@skunkcityseeds You can make phenotypically stable or variable F1's. Just becaust they have variation doesn't mean they aren't F1. That just means First Filial generation... F1(skunk) X F1(GG4) = F1 with lots of phenos. .... also F7(skunk) X F7(GG4) = F1 with only 1 pheno. Both are F1's.
