You’re that bird looking at the monitor and you’re thinking to yourself ‘I can figure this out’ maybe you have some bird ideas maybe that’s the best you can do.
@JUST_LUK7N Then you don’t have many options.
Either go back to headphones with lower impedance, or invest in something that can drive them properly.
If you want demanding headphones, you need proper amplification. If you want simplicity, use easier-to-drive headphones.
@Velion Honestly, it would be healthier to stop thinking about it.
Whether you deserve your streamer item or not, it will take time for BSG to notice you and give it to you.
Stay consistent, grow as a streamer, and it will come with time.
I already had a FiiO K7, which works perfectly for me, so I don’t use my RODECaster for headphones.
For IEMs, I use Etymotic ER3SE. In Tarkov, they give me a massive advantage. I’ve never had such a precise sense of positioning and spatial awareness.
They don’t sound “fun” in the usual way because they’re very flat, analytical, and deep-insertion focused. Less bass impact, less warmth, less artificial width. But that’s exactly why they work: clean separation, isolation, and precise detail.
For my use case, they’re better than most of the expensive sponsored IEMs you see on streamer. They’re a tool, not a fashion product.
Hardware > software.
I don’t like having extra apps running in the background. I prefer keeping my system as low-latency as possible.
I use a RODECaster Duo without software, and it works well with my Shure SM7B.
The RODE has built-in filters, and between that and OBS, there’s already plenty of control.
Your issue is trying to get an all-in-one solution while using such demanding headphones.
Personally, I’d rather keep the dependency smaller. I use 80-ohm headphones, and that’s already enough for monitoring headphones like Beyerdynamics, which work well for both multimedia and demanding gaming.
For Tarkov specifically, you can even use IEMs. They cost less and give a clear advantage during tryhard sessions.
@TheOldestGreg@SirHansVader yeah, BSG are super scared of chinese clones
it’s not like they have a player base that will play and spend no matter what, the people complaining on social media are just yelling in their echo chamber
@JUST_LUK7N@NoMercyVit@wearemaxgaming I tried to use the warranty, but according to them it didn’t cover that kind of damage. I’m talking about their first high-end wireless model (300/350€), it must be over 10 years old now. You know what? I still have the same DT770 since then.
@NoMercyVit@JUST_LUK7N@wearemaxgaming 300€ steelseries headset plastic broke aswell since then I learned and never bought anything from them and switch from gaming brand to real audio my Beyerdynamic never broke down.
