@halewifitcarp No, They are black. Both the 4th Raikage and Killer Bee have Cornrows which is a Black hairstyle. Killer Bee is based on the Wu-Tang Clan who are a Black hip-hip group calling themselves the Killer Bees with a similar Rapping style. The second Raikage had the most black features
I think fans just want good power scaling in the remaster. You never needed a 1:1 adaptation for this. The Anime can do their own version of Hit vs SSG Goku where Hit would have embarrassed SSG Goku and then Goku would have transformed into SSB at 100% power to finish Hit off
Why were you expecting them to change it ? You already know that It was Toriyama who designed ROF Gohan and the goal of this remaster is to be close to Toriyama's vision.
I have to admit that the new DBS ROF trailer is actually pretty good and the music and editing is HYPE but--
WHY DIDN'T THEY CHANGE GOHAN'S CLOTHES?? 😭 Who tf actually likes the tracksuit??
@PomegranateCity John's debut comic also isn't canon. Another thing. Nobody in the story knew the Senator was racist until John proved it with good detective work. Keep your Bias out of media literacy. For over 50 years, Comic Hal and comic John have been friends. Yet you're being a toxic fan.
@jordi_tal820@pepperflonk The Nickname aging poorly in the modern era doesn't make Hal racist in the 60s and 70s. Hal being friends with him during racial segregation is still a big deal when most real life white people of that era never allowed people like Thomas to drink or eat on the same table as them
You guys are wrong. Comic Hal and John have been friends for over 50 years. Why use non-canon 1971 comics to make a point ? Even then it wasn't racial bias. Hal thought John having a huge chip on his shoulder would be a problem. Before meeting John, Hal helped a Black community
I mean she's not wrong. The entire introduction of John Stewart in the comics reveals Hal's implicit racial biases. Plus, Hal in the show is constantly microaggressing John. Constantly calling him "junior" is a microaggression. The "Midwest Huxtables" bit was a micro aggression.
@Theurban_avengr You are being weird. Hal and John have been friends for over 50 years, but you wanna use a non-canon comic from 1971 to push some non-existent point even though Hal is still in his early 40s in 2026. Why do so badly want Hal to be racist, lol ?
@Warlioncomics Hal and John have been friends since the mid 1970s in the comics, lol. Hal is also friends with an Inuit man Thomas Kalmaku. That 1971 comic where Hal was ignorant about systematic biogtry and helps the older Black gentleman isn't also canon because Hal is in early 40s in 2026
Bad example. Streak and the Justice Guild in this story were from the 1950s which was the racial segregated era. They were John's childhood heroes who got killed in 1962. Streak genuinely didn't know that Black people and white people would have equal civil rights in the future.
@New_God3 The Hal one looks bad because its out of context. Hal was written to date Arisia after she was physically and mentally aged up. The reason Hal was written to say I have to prove I'm not a child molester because he needed to explain the age up to his JL pals on Earth.
@IwanGurt Except Slade was introduced as a pedophilic villain by his creater Marv Wolfman in 1980 who intended Slade to be a irredeemable in pre-crisis. That's not bad writing as Slade never was a normal guy.
That's not it. Its just that Moral policing on the social media is performative compared to irl Moral policing. It didn't change anything in real life. Things are much worse now than they were in 2016. 30% to 40% of USA's population is radicalized now because of wealth inequality
i don't think gen z has a "moral policing obsession" as badly as y'all make it seem. i think older generations just let alot of uncool shit slide and the later generations have to wake up to it and fix it.
things are allowed to change and your allowed to criticize things.
@NegAffirmations@NebsGoodTakes That's a Far-right extremist, not a Republican. Sure the Republican party may have similar policies to facists, but they still have Women, Indian people, Asian people and Black people in the party even if those people are evil.
@jimwade@DynamiteHausen What about his personal origin from The Batman / Superman: World's Finest (2022-) series # Annual 2025 ? This came out in April 2025 when the show was being written.
@istandwithluka She's not. They're all confused to why Wally is so badly accusing this soviet spy of Bigotry. Wally disliked the Soviet Russian Govt and the red army for their real life ongoing Mass murders and war crimes of the Cold war. Wally's Conservatism was him being an Anti-Imperialist
@damiianheart Strange because this Wally was a Reagan Era Republican and his Conservatism about him opposing USSR's Imperialism, Supporting immigration and wanting tax break. The Titans never put him down and there was no political divide pre-MAGA. Wally fought Nazis in this same comic
@TwoToneShoes I think you already know that Ollie will end up looking Dumb since this is Wally's comic. Batman proved Ollie wrong in the same comic where Ollie called Batman a Nazi. Besides I recall Ollie being awfully sexist and Liberal at the same time. He was never a true liberal like Piper
@MabelSyrupy@renviary He didn't hate Wally. He liked Wally as a character as per his own words, but at the same time didn't like Speedsters on a team. He explained this in an interview. He always preferred KF Wally as a solo character. He's the one who wrote KF Wally's debut episode in TT (2003)
