Amanda DeGuio was just 24 years old when she vanished from her home in Upper Darby/Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, on June 3, 2014.
More than a decade later, Amanda is still missing. Her two daughters have grown up without their mom, and her loved ones are still waiting for answers.
Amanda had just returned from a trip to Disney World in Florida on May 30. On the morning of June 3, her mother, Joanne, asked her to unpack and do the laundry from the trip and bring in luggage she had left outside.
When Joanne returned home around 5:00 p.m., Amanda was gone.
Her suitcase had been unpacked, but her clothes had not been washed. Amanda had left behind her phone and credit cards, and because she did not drive, investigators have never determined whether she walked away or was picked up.
Amanda was reported missing on August 27, 2014, by her sister Nicole.
She has never been found.
Amanda had struggled with addiction after becoming dependent on opioids following complications from childbirth. At the time she disappeared, she was reportedly newly in recovery. She also lived with bipolar disorder.
Despite an enormous effort to find her, investigators have come up empty-handed. Loved ones searched hospitals and morgues. Police shut down neighborhood streets, searched rural properties, used search dogs and specialized equipment, and even drained a septic tank.
Still, no Amanda.
There have been disturbing theories surrounding her disappearance, including possible involvement in prostitution, kidnapping, and sex trafficking. Authorities have also investigated other circumstances surrounding her disappearance, including a prescription she picked up from a pharmacy approximately a week afterward that had been prescribed to someone else.
At the time she disappeared, Amanda was:
• White female
• 5'1"–5'3"
• Approximately 100–120 pounds
• Long brown hair and blue eyes
• Poor dental condition
• Diagonal surgical scar on her middle/upper abdomen
• Known to dye her hair or wear wigs
• Often wore headbands, bracelets, earrings, and large sunglasses
• Known to carry a large white purse
She has several distinctive tattoos:
📷 A lips/lipstick mark on her right buttock
📷 The shape of Italy with “La Vita Bella” above it on her right side
“Tommy” beneath her right breast
“SC” on her ring finger
“MF” inside her lower lip
Amanda was known to frequent Upper Darby, Drexel Hill, Clifton Heights, and the Overbrook section of Philadelphia.
She may have used the names Adrianna, Crystal, Gianna, Stacy, Mandy, or “Manz.”

Amanda was a daughter. A sister. A mother.
Her two daughters deserved to grow up with their mom, and Amanda's family deserves to know what happened to her.
After all these years, someone may still hold the information that can finally bring Amanda home.
