NEW:
The MANDATORY Canada Pension Plan
and Brookfield Asset Management have just announced a $50B joint venture called the "Maple Fund"
where CPP provides capital and Brookfield handles project origination and management.
Canada, we are being pillaged.
The Prime Minister can’t seem to get his story straight about the “associate membership,” “unique alliance,” or whatever else he is negotiating with the EU.
Conservatives are clear: we support the decades-old free trade & NATO defence alliance with Europe.
But no EU taxes, no EU laws, and no EU open-border immigration policies should be imposed on Canadians.
Canada must be independent and sovereign. Period.
For starters, Canada potentially having to pick up obligations under the EU Pact on Migration.
Canada's immigration system is already a dumpster fire. We can't afford to import any of the EU's migration system problems.
Hey Carney ... What the fuck is the point of cutting carbon emissions when you let wildfires emit more carbon in two weeks than every vehicle in North America does in a whole year?
Ottawa wants mandatory French speaking requirements for private sector employees
I think it’s time English speakers tell liberals to stick this where the sun does not shine. Enough @MarcMillerVM@MarkJCarney liberal idiots all.We demand English in every business in Quebec as well
POILIEVRE: Carney, you doubled the deficit.
CARNEY: I reduced the deficit.
How is increasing the deficit from $31 BILLION to $65 BILLION reducing it?
What kind of Liberal math is that??? 🤔
Today in QP PM Carney said:
"Mr. Speaker, in the face of a tariff war, and in the face of an actual war, the government has reduced the deficit by $11 billion."
This is a blatant lie. PM Carney has done nothing but increase the deficit. Where have the CBC "fact checkers" gone?
The sad reality is most people just don’t care if that half-assed “attempted shooting” was staged or real. Trump lies constantly about everything, calls anything he dislikes “fake news,” and his administration can’t be trusted.
Trump brought this credibility collapse on himself.
The one thing that continues to perplex me—and honestly, I don’t understand why more people aren’t questioning it—is this: When it comes to economic growth in Canada, why does every solution from Mark Carney’s government involve more government?
It’s not as though Canada’s industry leaders need mentorship and guidance from the government to succeed… these are grown adults running successful empires.
The lack of growth isn’t due to them suddenly forgetting how to operate with their generated income.
The growth and productivity stalled for reasons that have been screaming at us from all the data and charts for the last several years. But Instead of removing barriers so businesses can actually build, hire, and grow… we get more programs, more bureaucracy, more oversight.
We don’t have a lack of ideas or potential in this country. We have a system that keeps adding bottlenecks instead of removing them. Why, Instead of unlocking opportunity, does the government keeps inserting itself into it?
We don’t need more gatekeepers… we need fewer gates and more freedom to create and produce.
At what point do we ask whether the “solution” is actually the problem?
COMPLETE OBLITERATION
Media INSULTED Pierre Poilievre eduction.
They got DESTROYED with FACTS that make Mark Carneys Harvard eduction look like he went to Kindergarten Class.
MSM Learned TODAY
Please don’t get angry. I fact checked this. And I was an eye witness. It’s the result of some pretty basic stuff like lowering taxes, not raising them, and not punishing people for working hard.
The cynicism & hyper partisanship on this site can be exhausting.
I see criticism of Conservatives like @erinotoole & @lraitt for agreeing to serve on the Prime Minister’s Canada-US relations advisory panel.
Some say it represents “patronage.”
To be clear, membership on advisory panels like this are not paid positions. Sometimes they will offer modest per diems for longer meetings requiring travel. But there is no material reward for participating in work like this. If anything it represents an opportunity cost for busy people who give up paid work or billable time in order to participate.
In other words, it’s not patronage.
Cynics, brace yourself: perhaps what motivates people to set aside partisanship and do voluntary work like this is an authentic sense of duty, of public service that puts country ahead of party.
To the partisans who think it’s disloyal to accept a role like this: please remember that severely normal Canadians do not see the world through your hyper partisan lens. They expect Canadians to work together across party lines to help defend the country from external threats, like Donald Trump’s aggression.
(Remember Stephen Harper appointing John Manley to lead the advisory panel on the Afghan military deployment; or appointing Gary Doer Ambassador to the US.)
Finally, to Conservatives: one of the most unattractive feature of the contemporary left is its tendency to politicize absolutely everything. Don’t repeat their error. Conservatism is not a rigid ideological doctrine requiring loyalty tests and the demonization of our political adversaries.
GOLDSTEIN: Climate hysteria wasted our money, failed to reduce need for fossil fuels
Canada is a case study in the failed and ruinously expensive global attempt to avoid what we’re inaccurately told is the 'existential' threat of climate change https://t.co/ZHGTeBwTDS
The Prime Minister’s video is another illusion.
He says he wants a permanent rupture with our biggest customer while he keeps 90% of his personal investments in the U.S.
He has doubled the deficit, negotiated no new free trade deals with any other country, approved no pipelines, and given Canada the worst food inflation, the worst household debt, the worst housing costs, and the only shrinking economy in the G7.
Fear is not a plan. We must reverse Liberal taxes, deficits, and anti-resource laws so we can be affordable, safe, and strong at home.
"It took three days for any reporter to ask Prime Minister Mark Carney where the $14 billion would come from to support the grocery benefit program. And it took the U.S. Ambassador to Canada—an American—to tell Canadians in August 2025 that we were in breach of CUSMA and that counter-tariffs were driving grocery prices higher. Prime Minister Carney eliminated those counter-tariffs just two weeks later.
Our media is sleepwalking—and that weakens our democracy."
INSANE: Within 24 hours, Ottawa found over $120 million for Sudan while Canadian troops overseas were hit with reported allowance cuts of $1,000 to $1,500 a month.
That’s Canada in one sentence: cash for foreigners, betrayal for the people who actually serve this country.
