Matthew McConaughey shares the best breakup advice his mom ever gave him
“I remember breakups, heartbroken. She'd let us mourn. She was a great ear, very sensitive ear to pains like that, broken hearts”
“But only for a day. After a day, she'd crank up the AC/DC man and go like, ‘Now, get up. You're worth it. Her loss. Come on. Get out of bed’”
“Quit moping. Lift your head up. Come on buddy. We got this. Her loss”
“She’d give you the day. No more than that”

Today, we remember a legend.
On this day in history, Harambe would have celebrated another birthday. An icon that became part of internet history, American culture, and an entire generation’s timeline.
Tomorrow marks 10 years since we lost him. Ten years since the moment the world stopped scrolling and collectively mourned something bigger than a meme.
He became a symbol of loyalty, strength, chaos, unity, and the strange beauty of the internet bringing millions of people together for one cause: never forgetting Harambe.
Everyone remembers where they were when they heard the news. And somehow, a decade later, his legacy still lives on.
Gone, but never forgotten.
Rest easy to a true patriot. 🕊️🇺🇸

Forever in our hearts.
The world feels upside down. I pray for better days for myself and everyone. I don’t even know how to describe any of this anymore. But I do know faith is all we have when everything feels dark. Even when my world is on fire, I trust there’s a lesson in it.
The fact that a woman can cheat on a man, get pregnant, and then get a court to force him to pay for a child that isn't his.
The fact that marriage is a contract in which one party is rewarded at the other's expense for breaking it.
The fact that a woman can be caught on camera assaulting her boyfriend or openly admitting to it and have millions of people rush to her defense and call her victim the abuser simply because she's a woman and can therefore do no wrong.
NEW: ABC's "Bachelorette" caught on camera allegedly attacking her ex-boyfriend and throwing a chair at him, which appeared to hit her child.
The "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" star is reportedly under investigation for domestic violence.

Amazon is holding a mandatory meeting about AI breaking its systems. The official framing is "part of normal business." The briefing note describes a trend of incidents with "high blast radius" caused by "Gen-AI assisted changes" for which "best practices and safeguards are not yet fully established." Translation to human language: we gave AI to engineers and things keep breaking?
The response for now? Junior and mid-level engineers can no longer push AI-assisted code without a senior signing off. AWS spent 13 hours recovering after its own AI coding tool, asked to make some changes, decided instead to delete and recreate the environment (the software equivalent of fixing a leaky tap by knocking down the wall). Amazon called that an "extremely limited event" (the affected tool served customers in mainland China).

If there’s one learning lesson you need to take away in 2026 it’s that the truth doesn’t matter anymore and reality isn’t real.
People will invent narratives and facts to suit desired objectives and if enough people agree, that’s the new reality. People who point out that the emperor has no clothes will be crushed. Katherine Maher of Wikimedia said it best herself. “Our reverence for the truth is a hindrance to getting things done.” (Paraphrasing)
We’re living in a world where lies don’t matter anymore. There are only words and how effective they are to reaching desired outcomes. People don’t care about the truth. They care about achieving their goals.
We’re living in Demon times.
