Lewis Hamilton is wearing a yellow helmet inspired by his early racing career at Silverstone this weekend. He wore an almost identical one when he won the GP2 Feature and Sprint races there in 2006 💛⏳🇬🇧
Jolyon Palmer: "The form he has found again now is extraordinary. To be delivering so consistently. To be making Charles look average in the other car. This is the ABSOLUTE BEST of Lewis Hamilton, EVER!"

The 1991 German motorcycle Grand Prix in the 500cc class was held on May 26, 1991, at the Hockenheimring.
It was the sixth round of the 1991 Grand Prix season and is remembered for an exceptionally close and competitive battle between Kevin Schwantz and Wayne Rainey, which remained tight until the final moments of the race.
What a track and what a pair of unbelievable riders.

“Oh you men are all alike - 7 or 8 quick ones and you’re off with the boys to boast & brag.
You’d better keep your mouth shut!
Oh I think I love him.”

Coco Gauff says Serena Williams’ comeback match at Wimbledon proved even more that she’s the GOAT, ‘Maya played like top 10, top 5 tennis… I think Serena’s level was insane’
“I watched basically the whole match. I missed the beginning, a little bit of the first. I don’t know, it’s hard to find where to watch matches here 😂. I was at the restaurant and I had to like end my dinner early. I thought she was playing really great tennis. I mean, Maya played like top 10, top 5 tennis. Obviously she’s a great player. I’ve never played her before, but I think she was like top 20 before or close to that. She’s a great competitor and seems like a chill girl. I do think if anyone was ready for the moment, it would be her. But I think Serena’s level was insane. For me it proves even more how she’s the goat. Despite age and all that, I don’t know how she could play at that level not playing for 4 years. I was already nervous not playing like 2 weeks before this tournament 😂. I couldn’t imagine 4 years. She’s just the goat. I just love her. I love her fight. The serve is unbelievable. It’s just crazy. I think it’s insane how she’s can just play. You just look at her and you think like, ‘this is like 10 years ago.’ I think it’s really insane. It was cool for the sport. Obviously congrats to Maya for stepping up and being ready.” ❤️

July 1st 1973. The day Ronnie “Superswede” Peterson became an F1 world championship grand prix winner 🏁
Peterson won the French GP by a comfortable 40+sec margin in his Lotus 72E from the Tyrrell of home hero François Cevert.
Nine more grand prix wins for Peterson would follow in the coming years.
To this day, he is considered one of the best Formula 1 drivers in history to have never won a world title.
We’re saddened to hear of the passing of Michael Byrne.
Spy fans will remember him as Admiral Kelly in Tomorrow Never Dies, alongside memorable roles in The Eagle Has Landed, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and The Sum of All Fears.
Here’s to you, Michael 🍸
What heartbreaking news. Revered actor, Danny Glover, has revealed that he’s living with Alzheimer’s disease. Praying for his journey and his family’s.
Serena Williams says on IG after her comeback singles match at Wimbledon:
“It felt so good to be back on the grass at Wimbledon. I'm incredibly thankful for the wild card - and even more grateful my daughters got to see that it's never too late to chase something you love.
I tweaked my knee late in the first set, but I'll be doing everything I can to be ready for doubles with Venus.
Congratulations to Maya Joint on a great match, and thank you to everyone who showed up and showed me so much love.
That feeling will never get old.”
