@Victoria_Spratt@theipaper interested in your thoughts then on all the public sector pensions.....i'd argue that they're the most expensive state benefit
@AndyFitchet HR to recruiter: "But you didn't send any female candidates, and everyone was white and apparently had all their limbs and faculties in place" Recruiter "Did you want the best/most qualified person for the role or are you more concerned with ticking a box and filling a quota"
@Jenny_1884 gut it, cut out the deadwood, put in a 'ceo' who can reliably allocate capital efficiently and run a 'business' properly. Total shambles......and the strikers? cut their fucking pensions in half.
@CounsellingSam go on - be specific, name 10 that fit your criteria of them not spending money in the UK ( and factor in whether or not they engage in business in any form in the UK which pays peoples wages ).
@HonestHalo ahhh you mean its less of a shambles now ( according to the so called statistics) ?? whatever, its a shitshow.....gut it, cut the jobsworths, cut the wastage and get someone in who knows how to run a massive corporation PROPERLY AND EFFICIENTLY.
@DavidTaylor85 'private sector experience is also important' - i'd argue that it's most important - if an MP has no clue about balancing books, being accountable, working to tight deadlines, rewarding competence rather than mediocrity, no clue about macro events - then their outlook is lacking.
@obviousenigma1@Emma_A_Webb aw bless, another muppet who has Elon Derangement Syndrome. Yes he's white, yes he's supremely effective at building business and second to none at capital allocation; You think when he offers free starlink to emergency zones that he specifies 'whites only' ?
@Gillian_Mackay1@4Day_Week FFS - 'Mental Health issues' for working a short 5 day week.....this country has become full of slop. Sure, have your 4 day week, and lose some of your pension, salary and holiday.
@liambyrnemp give your head a wobble and then figure out how well your mob are doing for the country (the whole of the country, not the bloody public sector or those in the queue for welfare)
@wesstreeting FFS - another leftie muppet who thinks raising taxes is the answer - how about spending the existing taxes wisely and frugally? ps/ you can fuck right off if you think its reasonable for folks to take a shitload of risk to then get shafted with CGT at income tax levels.
