The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) Region 20 issued a complaint against Amazon over its illegal union-busting activity at the DCK6 facility in San Francisco. This marks another legal win for the Teamsters in the national fight against the two trillion-dollar company.
Recent NLRB rulings are making serious progress to hold Amazon accountable for its worker violations. The government’s latest complaint seeks to force Amazon to rehire fired workers and ensure Teamsters Union supporters receive the raises, bonuses, and promotions they deserve.
“Amazon tried every trick in the book to stop us from organizing a union and we succeeded anyway,” said Ken Chu, an Amazon Teamster at DCK6. “Our warehouse is now a Teamsters shop. Our union is getting stronger while Amazon is being punished for its lawbreaking.”

The Teamsters Union mourns the tragic loss of a worker killed last night at Amazon’s JFK8 warehouse.
For years, members of ALU-IBT Local 1 have sounded the alarm on dangerous conditions at JFK8. Amazon Teamsters nationwide have joined in demanding the company take safety seriously and protect its workforce.
Following last night’s incident, JFK8 workers united in solidarity to ensure a temporary closure of Amazon’s Staten Island facility so they could properly grieve the loss of life.
We’re heartbroken over the loss of one of our coworkers. Our deepest condolences go out to their loved ones.

After reaching supermajority support, nearly 90 drivers at United Natural Foods Inc. (UNFI) across drop yards in Texas and Louisiana are demanding the company voluntarily recognize their federally protected right to join the Teamsters. Despite overwhelming support, local management is refusing to acknowledge their workers’ choice and has resorted to intimidation tactics in a foolheartedly attempt to prevent them from forming a union.
Since 2022, more than 2,500 UNFI workers have organized with the Teamsters, growing union density at the company to over 5,000 members nationwide. Texas and Louisiana drivers are ready to join their Teamsters brothers and sisters, but instead of respecting their rights, UNFI is taking the hard road. They won’t win — the drivers are standing strong, and they will prevail!
