What a story ..
0 Stars & 0 D1 offers in Highschool📝
At the start of my senior year, I remember earning my first collegiate offer from Lake Erie (D2) to play receiver. Felt blessed for the opportunity, but I remained hungry..
Senior season went on, and man I played my ass off every week just hoping for the opportunity I had always dreamed for & prayed about since being a kid.
Earned All-Ohio honors that season, playing in just 7 games (COVID). Broke school records, & won a lot of games. Felt like I might've been able to catch the eye of a few of the coaches I reached out to.
Despite that, many schools still overlooked me, but I did receive offers from multiple D2 and NAIA schools. I just still wasn't satisfied. Didn't feel fulfilled.
Every day, I sent my tape to coaches, hoping for just 1 chance to play at the D1 level. I kept grinding, kept praying, and set the bar high for myself.. Just never got the opportunity.
Eventually, I decided to commit to Marian University (NAIA), to be developed by Coach Tutsie, who I owe everything to. He developed me into the player I am today & I'm forever grateful for all he has done for me. #Ls ⚔️
Redshirted my Freshman year at Marian, but I stayed patient. My First season starting at Marian I grinded .. Day in and day out. Had a great year, earned First Team All-Conference and thought about hitting the portal to chase those dreams..
Decided I wanted to return to Marian to finish what I started with all of my brothers I came in with!
Didn't know that this season would change my life forever, for the better. During the season I not only got married to the love of my life, but also found out that we are expecting our first child! 🙏🏾 On top of all of the things I thought motivated me, this pushed me even harder to go get eveything I ever wanted, and set the bar high for my future little boy 💙
As my time at Marian came to an end, I felt ready to take the next step. After and a lot of prayer & long talks with my wife, friends/family, teammates, & coaching staff, I decided to enter the transfer portal. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I knew I wanted to make an impact wherever I went—not just on the field but also in the community.
Didn't take long for my film to get noticed. Many coaches reached out, and offered. Here I am today with 35+ offers from Division I schools (FCS & FBS). Blessed 🙏🏾 It’s been an incredible experience, and I’ve built strong, everlasting relationships with great coaches all across the country.
Now, getting ready to make my decision. Seeking the best fit for myself and my family. I want to thank all of the coaches that have reached out and given me these opportunities.
God is still writing my story .. 📝
With that being said, I will be making my decision soon ..
