@voooooogel I sent a huge email to them earlier with questions and basically converged on exactly this lol. I don’t get why extremely dense annotation is not more common in robotics space! Investing in it and, you know, not evil murderering the language part of ur model is so efficient

@wen_kaiyue Recent MAI-Base-2 post focused on how they found scaling laws to speed up pretraining and were able to (at least kinda) empirically decide what gets added/cut bc of FLOP parsimony!! Found it very interesting for ur reason :) [Though obs ppl do scaling ladders, they have a twist]
