I am making a PWYW weather web app. No ads, but if you appreciate the idea and the application and want to support the deployment of it on a working domain any contributions are greatly appreciated. I am a solo developer. 👇 #webdev#webdevelopment#coding#webdevproject#wip
@sharm42453 I met my wife on Twitter before it was X, dated long distance for 3 months, then I moved her in with me (across state lines). We've been married 5 years now.
The argument against going fully digital is not just about the "if buying isn't owning ---- argument" it's also about the game companies like Epic and Ubisoft (as well as others) who offer in app purchases often grifting thousands and thousands of dollars over several years out of people and there is nothing stopping them from shutting down a game like fortnite, COD, R6, and literally having stolen all that money from their playerbase they aren't even forced to compensate their playerbase back if their games shut down.
That is robbery, it is wrong.
It's not about when did we last buy physical game, it's about not robbing people of their money.
These companies refuse to be held accountable for stealing. With even large games being shut down within 5-10 years and so much money being given to these companies for nothing, why is it unfair to demand they at least compensate players for what they've spent if they shut a game down? The switch fromphysical to digital makes it easier for these companies to rob their playerbases if they move to all digital.
Men are told to stuff down their emotions, trauma, and abuse that they suffer until they eventually break, then IF they try to get help, once again, they're considered weak, crazy, or "sissies." Men have a higher rate of completing suicide than women, far too many men are not okay and if they get help then it's used against them and they are stigmatized.
Society has failed men, and we need to do better. Before we can *ever* fix all the issues that women also deal with, we have to address one of the BIG root causes of misogyny/ eg hatred of women / continuation of cycles of abuse and mistreatment.
If we can address all of it, then there would be way less problematic men out there. Way less crime towards women, etc because it IS all connected.
Many of these men who could be considered problematic have been abused, used, mistreated, and often don't even know that they have been abused, used, and mistreated because of the normalization of the abuse of boys who then grow up into men with maladaptive coping mechanisms and problematic behaviors.
I'm not saying this to excuse bad behavior by men I'm saying this to address the elephant in the room that a lot of people don't want to talk about.
Financial abuse is another thing that is normalized towards men. Men are expected to be providers, expected to work themselves to death, and often whether it's a gf, a wife, or even family they end up in life long toxic situations where love is conditional and based on how much they can provide. Conditional love is mental and emotional abuse. Conditional love based around how much a person can provide is financial abuse in many cases.
It really bothers me that young boys are taught to hide their emotions and "get over it" (often times told this as they're being abused or seriously hurting mentally or physically) and then people get mad at those boys who grow into men with maladaptive coping mechanisms or problematic behaviors.
The amount of young boys and grown men who are abused (including physical abuse, mental abuse, financial abuse, sexual abuse etc) is... vastly underreported because abuse of boys and men is normalized and if they speak out or try to get help it's stigmatized. Society has failed men.
KT Tape works. It works so well I'm going to be writing some articles about this stuff so everyone from my 78 year old grandma to eSports tier pros can experience relief.
I went from having almost 0 use of my hands and on the verge of another 2 surgeries to managing ulnar nerve entrapment and de quervain's with night splinting, cold therapy, and KT Tape.
**Always consult your GP / Neurologist / PT of course, first.

So if no one else was there to witness a rape it doesn't count? Interesting. Trump is mentioned in the Epstein files over 68,000 times and started a whole war to distract from his involvement.. Bill Clinton was also mentioned in the Epstein Files, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, I think they should all be thrown in the same pit, and Hillary too since she defended a rapist as one of her first big cases against a 12 year old victim. The woman laughed while recounting the suffering she caused a child. All. All of them should be thrown in the same pit, I don't know why that's so hard for you to say too
@vancitydon@4N0NYM0U5_5H311 Just say you have a low IQ and no reading comprehension, it's less embarrassing for you than calling everyone ANTIFA operatives😂
@vancitydon@4N0NYM0U5_5H311 My brother works 2 jobs (18 hour workdays) to feed his two kids, he likes to play video games still when he is able to after he takes care of his other obligations. It's a washed stereotype to say people who game are losers and lazy because most of us are working 2-3 jobs too.
