@cmJohannes Because Kurds by their number and presence are a real threat. Kurds have never in history submitted to the Turks. While many other minorities totally forcefully assimilated Kurds are still standing strong.
@aldersimi The Kurdish Nationalistic awakening is great, it’s just that the parties haven’t been great in managing it. Even if the parties fails, the Kurds will never submit to Sultan or the Shah, we never did. Being equals with Turks in a bigger context could work.
@Danny5Kills@Geshti_Azadi Why would they not be KDP loyalists. KDP is fully committed to building and preserving Christian presence. Christian are actually prosperous in KRG, not as much in rest of Iraq.
@Danny5Kills@Geshti_Azadi You know what Dan, you instilled some hope in me for Kurdish - Assyrian relations. I honestly believe that the Kurdish side is much more willing to foster good relations than the other side. Assyrians will take any chance to hit Kurds.
