All #Chaldeans are #Assyrian: historically, contemporarily, genetically, ethnically, geographically, linguistically, etc. This is an undeniable fact of reality, and is a moot point at this period in time! Please, focus on unity among #Chaldo-Assyrians peoples across all churches, so we can get over it then we can get to defending ourselves, and rebuilding our fledgling nation! Thank you! 😊

@6repss@Geshti_Azadi the Kurdish leadership is extremely secular, thank god, they know/understand/don’t trust the dangerous Islamists, the flag really isn’t used officially, it’s seen as just a cultural icon, but yes general tolerance is a great aspect but still the situation needs improvement.
@6repss@Geshti_Azadi What you’re saying is partially correct but keep in mind: a lot of these positions are either tokens or KDP loyalists, in FEd Iraq they are building/repairing churches too, there was a civil war,
You speak Assyrian NEO Aramaic, not pure Aramaic and not fully mutually intelligible with other branches/dialects. I’m glad you rely on the bible so heavily. My favorite passage: “Blessed be Egypt My people, & Assyria the work of My hands, & Israel My inheritance. Isaiah19:25
@6repss@Geshti_Azadi Even the Barzani’s agreed to look into the court cases, ones Assyrians WON by the way with the verdict being enforced. https://t.co/aONxZT5cPP
@6repss@Geshti_Azadi Here is quote from this article: While noting ongoing challenges such as land disputes and limited job opportunities, Darmo revealed that these issues were raised during a recent meeting with Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani in Washington.
@DavidtheSyriac You’re Assyrian as are all Arams (from the modern territory of ancient Assyria, Palestinian Christians in Israel can call themselves whatever they want but you aren’t one them) and all Chaldos are too, always and forever.
@DavidtheSyriac Who calls it that other than delusional people like you? We call it Bet-Nahrain, house of the 2 rivers, that’s the only term out people use.
@DavidtheSyriac Damascus, the remnants of Aram. Remember how I kept saying when the bible mentions Aram, it’s interchangeable with Damascus & Syria? David, are you from Damascus or Southeast Turkey aka the most northern part of ancient Assyria?
@DavidtheSyriac “In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt & Assyria, a blessing on the earth.

@DavidtheSyriac No I promise you brother you are Assyrian, always and forever. You are from Southeast Turkey, the far Northern part of of ancient Assyria.
