Everyone is demanding educational reforms.
Excellent idea.
But can we begin by reforming the media first?
Today, our biggest influencers are not our teachers but TV studios, WhatsApp forwards, YouTube channels and social media trollers. Some of them teach us to hate before we understand, react before we think, and choose narratives over truth.
Whether we call ourselves andhbhakts or wear any other political label, we've all been conditioned to become more partisan and more narrow-minded.
Forget educational reform. Reform the media first. A nation that is fed propaganda every day cannot be educated. It can only be conditioned.

It is a clear violation of press ethics to use that sort of language on something you arguably should cover objectively.

INTERESTING: Dont forget it took the CJI’s reference to the word “cockroach” to finally trigger youth protests. Now when videos of students allegedly being beaten or dragged were cited, the court says it has no time to watch them. Makes you wonder: what does our justice system choose to prioritise? 🙏

This ministry is clueless. NEET-UG has suffered from multiple scams at this point. Don't even ask about NEET-PG or NEET-SS. These exams recruit future medical professionals. Your literal life depends on this. Voice your opinion and start asking questions.

VERY IMPORTANT: Justice Madhav Jamdar of the Bombay High Court: “What is this? Are all citizens being made slaves of the Indian government… Can they not stage protests or agitate? What is all this?”. Rejects externment for raising anti govt slogans.
That what should have been a routine judicial affirmation of the constitutional right to protest now feels extraordinary says much about the times we live in. When dissent is criminalised and increasingly treated as a law-and-order problem rather than a democratic right, such reminders from the judiciary matter. Take a bow, Justice Jamdar. 👏👏

What experience did Barack Obama, a first-term Senator from Illinois, have in world affairs when he became President of the most powerful country on earth, while it was caught up in multiple global issues? For that matter, how much international exposure did the CM of Gujarat have to manage India’s International relationships? @RahulGandhi has led a national party for a dozen years. He has extensive contacts with leaders around the world and no shortage of advisers inside and outside his party. No President or PM handles crises alone; that’s why he heads a government! Wanting an honest education system, and immediate accountability isn’t a political issue, it’s a human one. If a student wants to scream that message from a cockroach party, ruling party, opposition party, Bhangra party or a kitty party…they should have everyone’s support.
