The House voted today on a new measure to fuse elements of the Israeli and US militaries, particularly on the cyberweapons front. Section 224, as its known, is included in the National Defense Authorization Act. Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., introduced an amendment to strip it from the bill. @Heavidor It seems to me that bringing in MON brought unity to the club and unity brought success. Tried and trusted. Why then would anyone want to replace him with someone they know will be toxic in a very divisive and explosive way ? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

@MarkEglinton In the modern world maybe but I think DD is an old fashioned dictatorial manager. I don't like quoting Michael O'Leary but he once said that he never learned anything from people who agreed with him all the time. DD should listen to him.

Strange how the ‘keep politics out of football’ crowd at Celtic have no problem with politics around resistance to British imperialism.

What they mean is keep politics i disagree with/don’t understand out of football.

@MarkEglinton This is the bit I have difficulty with. Forget his baggage for a minute. The Glasgow gold fish bowl is hard enough when you are wanted. The pressure on Keane would be off the scale and I don't see how anyone could cope with it. One wrong move and God help him.
