The calf was born last night. The bear showed up this morning... Our donkey went at it before the cow even knew it was there. Braying, rearing, kicking. The bear went back into the woods and the calf stood up for the first time right after.

🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting after a 22-year-old who runs into BURNING BUILDINGS as a volunteer firefighter was told he isn't qualified to be a paid firefighter...

...because he was HOMESCHOOLED.

Then the city changed the job posting to cover it up.

His name is Andrew Coates. He's 22 years old, in Nebraska.

Right now, today, he runs into burning buildings as a volunteer firefighter for Cedar Bluffs Fire. He is a state-licensed EMT.

He is doing the job. For free.

All he wanted was to get PAID to do it. In his words: "Make a career out of it would be the goal. To get paid to do what you love."

So he applied to the Fremont Fire Department.

And in April, the city rejected him. Why?

Because his high school diploma says he was homeschooled.

That's it. That's the whole disqualification.

Not his EMT license.
Not his fitness.
Not his record.
Not his experience pulling people out of fires ALREADY!!

...how he was educated.

The job posting he applied to said "graduation from high school."

That's all it said.
He graduated high school.
He has a diploma.

And AFTER they rejected him, the city went back and added the word "accredited" to the job description.

His own fire chief, the man who has watched Andrew work, showed up to defend him:

"I feel the city of Fremont is really missing out here, and in my mind, because of his homeschooling, you guys are discriminating against him."

Over THIRTY homeschool families showed up to stand behind this kid.

And the Civil Service Commission? They said it isn't their job to touch city policy.

Homeschoolers are literally a generation of kids who read ABOVE grade level, who work with their HANDS, who volunteer in their communities, who show up for their neighbors.

And this young man is the proof.

At 22, he's a certified EMT and a volunteer firefighter, while plenty of his peers are on a couch.

When your house is on fire at 3 a.m., I promise you will not ask the man dragging your children out where he went to high school.

You will not ask if his diploma was accredited.

You will thank GOD he came.

Andrew isn't even fighting for himself anymore. His words:

"I think now it's turned into we want to make sure that every homeschooler has an equal opportunity."

That's a better man than the policy that rejected him.

Fremont, you have a licensed EMT and an active firefighter begging to serve your city. And you turned him down over paperwork, then rewrote the paperwork to cover it.

Fix this.

Hire him!!!!!!!

Something is deeply wrong

[Nick shirley @nickshirleyy]

CBS News said there was no evidence of fraud.

The NYT said the Somali community was being targeted

CNN said there was "little evidence."

Tim Walz said it was “white supremacy” to expose fraud

Today: $90M busted and 15 charged.

IT WAS ALL FRAUD AND THEY KNEW.

The Left is crying about Trump losing equipment saving an American…

Here is a video of the Taliban having a military parade with BILLIONS in US military equipment left behind from Biden’s horrific Afghanistan withdraw.

They didn’t care.

Happy Easter from Samaritan's Purse!

He is Risen!

Praise be to God for the gift of His Son. It is through Jesus' death and resurrection that we are able to experience the life-changing hope of the Gospel!

“And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him." – Mark 16:6

On that first Easter morning, the tomb was empty—and everything changed.

Without the death and resurrection of Jesus, there would be no lasting hope. But because He lives, we serve with joy, purpose, and eternal hope. It is our prayer that our work around the world continues to point people to Jesus!

If you’re searching for hope today, we’d love to share why the resurrection of Christ means everything to us.

[Unity Network @UnityNodesIO]

Today marks a significant step forward for the Unity Network. Multiple new releases are now live:

- SMS Sender ID and Content Testing - a new task type now live on the network, expanding beyond voice into SMS based testing

- Broadcast Messaging - UNOs can now send messages directly to all connected ULOs

- UNO Web Management Portal - a new browser based portal for managing your network, including bulk license management and more. Everything you can do in the app you can now do on the web, with additional features. This portal will be continuously upgraded with new features over time based on your feedback and suggestions (Access the UNO web management portal at https://t.co/LPuiK1htMM)

- ULO Web Management Portal - a new browser based portal for managing your Unity License. This portal will be continuously upgraded with new features over time based on your feedback and suggestions (Access the ULO web management portal at https://t.co/LPuiK1htMM)

- Under the hood - bug fixes, frontend and backend optimisations, and fine-tuning across the application to ensure everything runs seamlessly as new tasks roll out

What's coming next on Unity Network:

- WiFi-Only Task - a new task type that is more compatible with all types of ULO setups, opening up higher reward potential for a wider range of network configurations

- SIM-Only Task - a new dedicated task for SIM-connected devices

- Scout and Runner Public Release - following successful Alpha testing with individual ULOs seeing 100+ UPs in rewards, S&R is preparing for full public rollout. The segment of the industry S&R operates in is valued at multiple billions of dollars per year, with some of the world's largest telcos involved indirectly through the third party providing this task

- ULO Network Evaluation Toolkit - monitor your ULO quality 24/7 with full visibility into device grading, network quality, connectivity, device type and more. See exactly how each of your devices is rated and understand why your rewards look the way they do. The toolkit will highlight setups that may be classified as synthetic networking - so you can see at a glance what's performing well for current tasks and what isn't. Different customers pay for different things, and different tasks value different setups - this tool gives you the transparency to optimize accordingly. Identify issues, improve your network, and track your performance in one place.

This is just the beginning. More task types, more customers and more tooling are on the way. The network is expanding, the roadmap is accelerating, and every release brings us closer to the largest edge network of its kind.
