@JenniferEValent Doesn't the job of protecting and preserving the church already belong to Jesus? Seems like any office to do that would be superfluous.
@bookkeepPLUS If you're not voting for a church elder and character doesn't really matter in a political leader, seems you should be able to vote for anyone you choose and no one should be able to question it for any reason whatsoever.
@bonhoefferchild I'm noticing this. Wanting power in the name of the one guy who, as God in flesh, could have had all the power ever available, yet willingly relinquished it and said his kingdom was not an earthly one.

@kevinmyoung I've read some of dude's book. He calls it a Christian political philosophy, yet he has quoted Scripture maybe 3 times in the first 200 pages. Thought reformed folk were sola scriptura. Seems a Christian political philosophy should quote Jesus and the apostles more than Aristotle
