I am vegetarian. My family is vegetarian.

I have been into sport all my life.
When my training was at peak during school my parents decided my brother and I need to eat eggs.

It was also the time when “Sunday ho ya Monday roz khao andey” campaign was popular in India.

So they got eggs for the first time ever and my mum m learnt to boil them from our neighbour and my brother and I had eggs for a couple of years at our home where nothing “non-veg” was ever made before this.

You know why?
Because my parents were smart people who genuinely cared about their children’s growth.

And if you are against eggs then I should see you make effort to include vegetarian protein dense food for your children but I don’t see any of you doing that either.

Woke activists just failed to add "caste" to New York's anti-discrimination law.

Good.

It was the latest attempt to add a new intersectional identity category into law that would then be used to train Americans to hunt endlessly for traces of oppression in ordinary, everyday life.

Despite what activists claim, there is no evidence of significant caste discrimination in America. Instead, our research shows that exposure to caste-sensitivity training materials and oppression narrative by activist groups make people more paranoid, more punitive, and more likely to see discrimination that didn't exist.

Some participants exposed to these materials even endorsed grotesque anti-Brahmin rhetoric adapted from Hitler's rhetoric about Jews.

The "anti-discrimination" policies pushed by progressives aren't merely useless, they actually increase the very types of prejudice they claim to be against.

The Government of India has used public funds (tax payers money) from the Department of Science, Biotechnology and Ayush Ministry for running the SUTRA-PIC (Scientific Utilization Through Research Augmentation-Prime Products from Indigenous Cows) program which claims focus on the scientific validation and commercialization of indigenous cow breeds and their byproducts (like milk, urine, and dung). "Transformers" by Daniel Jurafsky and James H. Martin is one of the clearest and most mathematically grounded introductions to the Transformer architecture I have ever read.

Chapter 8 introduces the Transformer as the standard architecture behind modern large language models. What makes this chapter particularly interesting is its step-by-step presentation of the underlying mechanisms: contextual embeddings, self-attention, query, key and value vectors, scaled dot-product attention, multi-head attention, residual streams, feedforward layers, layer normalization, masking, and the parallel matrix formulation of attention.

In particular, the treatment of attention as a weighted sum of contextual representations is especially valuable. The chapter first develops an intuitive, simplified view of attention and then gradually derives the full formulation using the Q, K, and V matrices. This approach makes it easier to understand what is actually happening inside the architecture from an algebraic and matrix-based perspective, rather than simply viewing the usual block diagrams.

I think it is an excellent resource for anyone interested in understanding how Transformers work from linguistic, mathematical, and computational perspectives.
