@MalEatToast I think you're thinking of final destination. Warfare is super cinematic movie thats literally just 1 firefight for an hour and a half but like cool style
WARFARE was released 1 year ago today.
Alex Garland and Ray Mendoza built the film around real combat experiences, prioritizing authenticity in tactics and decision-making over traditional war movie spectacle.
@bhawks200@KaptainKrunch97@blowupchildren@impy_art Operator is dope from a gameplay perspective. AI is actually pretty solid for what it is, my only real gripe is that the weapon customization is still pretty clunky. Hoping it gets a visual rework next update.
@PunishedDraxx@okraviola@Tyr808@reddit_lies Interesting! Very much outside traditional punk circles but always knew lace code was subjective in many cases/area specific. I was always under the impression red and white were the only universally recognized/avoided colors.
Iโm also upset about what theyโre doing with Steel Ball Run, but seeing the hype for an anime Iโve waited 6 years for get washed up in all this is cornball posting to the extreme.
You want to murder 300,000 of your own people, start a three-way civil war, declare war on 9 different nations at the same time, and then install an Emperor?
A *checks notes* TANK on the *checks notes again* TRANSPARENT BATTLEFIELD???? I've been told repeatedly by NAFO* accounts that this is now longer happening in war!?!?!
* the "E" stands for expert
@politics_w_sami@bruce_barrett 11 people are willing to go put and stand for an opinion that very well could have serious negative repercussions in finding jobs and keeping relationships. Imagine how many people have the same thoughts and just can't express them publically.
Them: "It must be nice to get all that free stuff in the military."
The free stuff:
- 0400 wake-up calls
- Mold in the barracks
- "govt issued" bed that ruins your back
- Boots that feel like bricks
- Life lessons like "never volunteer" and "hurry up and wait"
@m_Janelle Definitely biased as a tanker, but I definitely see a need to retain a true MBT in the CAF rather than retooling to a lighter variant. Especially in the roles of intimate support for infantry when assaulting an objective, nothing would beat a more modern Leo.
Own a gladius for home defense, since that's what the great Julius Caesar intended. Four bandits break into my villa. "By Jupiter!" As I grab my helmet and gladius. I thrust my sword and pierce the heart of the first man, he falls to the ground lifeless. Draw my pugio on the second man, miss him entirely because it's a short-range weapon and it hits the clay pot. I have to resort to the ballista mounted at the top of the villa loaded with javelins, "For the glory of Rome!" The javelins pierce through two men in the blast, the sound and extra splinters shatter the nearby vases. Fix my pilum and charge the last terrified bandit. He bleeds out waiting on the Praetorian Guard to arrive since pilum wounds are difficult to heal. Just as Julius Caesar intended.
