This wasn't a simulated transaction.
During a seven day pilot, Lloyds Banking Group settled $750,000 of real payment obligations with Visa using ethereum:0xa0b86991c6218b36c1d19d4a2e9eb0ce3606eb48 acquired through UK regulated digital asset exchange Archax.

The USDC was transferred from Lloyds' Corporate Markets operation in Jersey to Visa in the United States.
Settlement reached Visa in under one hour including transactions completed over the weekend.

This pilot tested stablecoins as the actual settlement asset between a major UK banking group and one of the world's largest payment networks.

Another real money test showing stablecoins moving deeper into institutional cross-border settlement rather than remaining purely crypto-market infrastructure.
