I went to the Reform Conference posing as a reporter for a fake hard right news channel, and found Farage supporters who thought he'd been "entrapped by facts"
I, Kevin Rowland (the son of Irish immigrants) and the main songwriter of ‘Come On Eileen,’ am disgusted to learn that Nigel Farage has used our song to make his entrance for his party conference. Myself, and all of Dexys are passionately against Farage’s politics.
@ByDonkeys .
We want to sincerely congratulate Nigel Farage.
For defeating a man with a bin on his head.
In a by-election that he called.
To avoid questioning over receiving an unreported £5 million pounds.
From an offshore, crypto-bro billionaire.
That hasn’t achieved anything.
As he can still face an inquiry over the donation.
Meaning this entire farce has been a complete waste of time.
Nigel – well done.
@TheShirtUnion@Arsenal Is it me or is the overlap on the collar varying across some of the pictures? Great kit but that slight mislignment of the overlap spoils the symmetry down to the triangles in the bruised banana pattern.
@ChatShirt@subsidesports@g4ryw4lker Wondered when manufacturers would go down the sublimated route. I don’t mind the idea. It removes risk of badges and sponsor peeling off. I have a Steelers NFL legend jersey which is sublimated. I find it lighter and more comfortable than the costlier game options.
Henry Nowak's mother has said:
"We are a family who have friends across faith and race, and so did Henry. We want his memory to help bring our society together."
And there you have it.
Angela Rayner - £40k underpaid stamp duty - repaid. Lost jobs in Cabinet and Dep. PM.
Peter Murrell - £400k theft from SNP - going to prison
Huge coverage of both
Nigel Farage - £5m undeclared bung (possibly more) - goes to ground for a month.
Media coverage? You judge.
Look, it's perfectly simple. I wasn't going to become an MP, then I was given £5 million and I coincidentally decided to run for Parliament. I then bought a house for £1.4m cash after saying I was "skint" and my girlfriend bought a house for £885,000 with money she didn't have and which I originally said I had bought. The gift was totally unconditional, as well as being for security and then it was a reward for Brexit. Nobody should have known about it, but the Russians hacked my phone, according to 'counter-espionage experts' who don't exist. See?
Say what you like about the British press, but I find it reassuring that they spend months ripping apart a Labour PM for properly declaring some glasses and football tickets, then all but ignore someone who wants to be PM when he tries to cover up a £5 million gift.
If Farage was a Labour MP, the right wing press in the UK would be all over him like a rash and relentlessly baying for his blood.
But no.
Why?
Because they are on his side.
Remember this if you are so ridiculously thick as to buy a Mail/Express/Sun/Telegraph etc.
You need shit for brains to even pick a copy up.
NEW: Standards commissioner finds Nigel Farage committed seventeen breaches of MPs code of conduct.
He failed to declare around £380,000 in outside interests (approx 4x MPs annual salary) incl payments for promoting gold, presenting on GB News and from his friend George Cottrell, within 28 days.
Reform UK leader apologised for what he described as administrative errors by his team.
