On the second day of his visit to #Srinagar, Shri Sanjay Singhal, #DGSSB, visited Sector Hqrs Srinagar and 14 Battalion, #Nagam.

At SHQ Srinagar, #DGSSB reviewed the operational preparedness of units under its Ops control, inspected the campus, and virtually inaugurated newly constructed residential barracks for #Force personnel. He also addressed a Special #SainikSammelan, interacted with officers and personnel, listened to their grievances and motivated them to prioritize physical and mental well-being and cyber awareness. He further emphasized the importance of discharging duties with dedication, discipline and professionalism.

Later, at 14 Battalion Nagam, #DGSSB paid solemn tribute to our bravehearts, inspected the campus, addressed a Sainik Sammelan, interacted with officers and jawans, boosted their morale and had lunch with the Jawans.

On the occasion of #WorldEnvironmentDay, #DGSSB planted saplings at Sector Srinagar and 14 Battalion Nagam, reaffirming the Force’s commitment to environmental conservation.

दिनांक 12/05/2026 को सशस्त्र सीमा बल (#SSB) की 38वीं वाहिनी, तवांग द्वारा बोमडिला नाला में “आपदा बचाव एवं राहत अभ्यास कार्यक्रम” का सफल आयोजन किया गया।
#Army की 190 ब्रिगेड, #NDRF, #SDRF, फायर ब्रिगेड, #ITBP, SSB (RRT), APP, सिविल पुलिस, DDMO एवं #NCC के अधिकारियों एवं जवानों की सहभागिता से आयोजित इस संयुक्त मॉक ड्रिल में सुरक्षित रेस्क्यू, प्राथमिक उपचार एवं त्वरित निकासी प्रक्रियाओं का प्रभावी प्रदर्शन किया गया।
179 कार्मिकों की सहभागिता वाला यह अभ्यास विभिन्न एजेंसियों के मध्य उत्कृष्ट समन्वय, परिचालन तत्परता एवं आपदा प्रबंधन क्षमता का सशक्त उदाहरण बना।
