Palestra is one of my favourite players already, I have never seen someone who makes on ball runs as much as him, he is literally a nightmare for the opposition to try and track, he is everywhere.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Chelsea reach verbal agreement with Aston Villa to sign Morgan Rogers. Bid of £117m accepted by #AVFC & being finalised. 6+1y contract, medical Monday. #AFC interested but 23yo attacker wanted #CFC; Xabi Alonso instrumental @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/81YbZw7ELc
With all due respect to El Aynaoui, Saibari, Yassine Bounou, and everyone else—thank you for your efforts—but I’m absolutely blown away by the performance of the Noussair Mazraoui.
Mazraoui is genuinely one of the most complete full-backs and I’m not exaggerating. Defensively? Outstanding. Timing of his tackles? Excellent. Rock-solid off the ball, and he seems to win almost every duel he goes into.
He can play every full-back role—left-back, inverted full-back, or providing width on the flank. Today, he delivered a truly historic performance, making several crucial interventions to deny clear scoring chances.
He completely shut down Summerville and frustrated the entire Dutch attack, cutting off virtually every route they tried to use. He was the best full-back, the best defender, and arguably the best midfielder on the team today.
On top of that, he’s exceptional at bringing the ball out from the back. An incredible player, and the level of quality he offers in that position is incredibly rare in world football today.
EXCLUSIVE: Moisés Caicedo has just informed Liverpool that he only wants to join Chelsea! 🚨🔵🇪🇨 #CFC
Caicedo has decided to keep his word and only accept Chelsea as personal terms were agreed since end of May.
Chelsea, set to bid again in order to get deal done with Brighton.
There was a moment late in the game where Bouaddi was actually clapping (appreciating a pass from the left-sided centre-back).
Receives it, turns, and instantly starts looking forward, carrying and progressing the ball.
His level of scanning before receiving is seriously advanced. Can play in 360 degrees. Recycles possession smoothly, shifting from short passes to long switches that change the point of attack. Covers ground with those long legs, handles transitions well, and reads danger early. All at 18 years old. That's nuts.
Brilliant defensive midfielder, man. Proper talent.
