Acting like blowouts only happen to G5 teams is insane. Trying to exclude 60 plus teams from ever making the playoffs would ruin the sport even more

The irony of forced inclusion of g5 teams, is that the casuals who demanded it because it’d be fun and neat to see new logos, are going to be the first to tune out because of blowouts

And the only folks watching will be the die hards who told them it was a bad idea

The American Conference has more wins against the SEC in the last calendar year than Auburn, Arkansas, and South Carolina combined.

South Florida won on the road in The Swamp, where #13 Texas lost.

Memphis has won their last 4 straight games at home vs. SEC teams.

Boise State had a Heisman finalist (probably should’ve been Heisman winner) and was ranked in the Top 10 last season…

Northern Illinois beat the Notre Dame team who reached the natty last year.

Tulane’s QB this year led BYU to an 11-2 record last season in the Big 12. Tulane beat Northwestern by 20 (same margin of victory over Northwestern as Oregon) and beat Duke.

Old Dominion held Indiana to fewer points than Oregon did and was more dominant against Virginia Tech than Vanderbilt was.

UConn beat Boston College by 15, the same margin of victory over BC as Notre Dame.

New Mexico beat UCLA by 25, and then UCLA went and beat Penn State, Michigan State, and Maryland.

San Diego State beat Cal by 34. That Cal team beat Minnesota, Louisville, and SMU.
