@patrickdichter And good luck trying to convince them they don’t need 20 accounts. I once told a client I would not do the bookkeeping because the cost would be too expensive. The benefits of profit first do not outweigh the cost of implementing ($’s and time)
@DailyTaxMemes@JVMonte2 Was listening to some kraftwerk after the interview with Rick Rubin, but didn’t really know which album to start with, what do you recommend?
@DailyTaxMemes@cordes_tax@FortWayneCPA Please note, I use that term in the most respectful way possible to make the joke work. Mike put out good quality content, he should come back.
UPDATE: The man in the CTA video that’s going viral has been arrested 30 times and majority of those arrests are for ASSAULT ON THE CTA. When do we address this problem rather than keep allowing more victims to be hurt? Are we waiting on him to kill someone? RIDICULOUS

The victim’s social media indicates she was a student at Loyola University.
The attack appears random.

NEW: The Washington Post editorial board is backing four key reforms to change Chicago’s financial trajectory.
1. Independent oversight of the budget.
2. Change state law to allow for municipal bankruptcy.
3. Implement $1 billion in efficiencies identified by EY in an analysis last year.
4. Change election timing to double turnout in municipal elections.
Details on all four in the replies ⬇️
"One of the greatest threats to public education in Chicago is the union itself and its wrongheaded insistence that CPS focus on political activism over academics. Regular working people have to show up as a condition of employment — so should the CTU."
"Reading, writing and math skills are what we’re guessing most parents would prefer their kids’ teachers to emphasize."
As any reasonable CPS parent would, I expect my child to be in school on May 1st, learning reading, writing, and math skills.
