@NickPriceKC The lesson to be learned. Let the player experience failure in the minors when pitchers adjust to him. Once he overcomes that adjustment he is more prepared to have a successful big league start.

He said it was important to overcome failure in the minors. Pitchers adjust to good hitters. He wanted to see how hitters reacted to those adjustments.
