@saribk01 correction - the players have dropped points against all of these teams - konate error v leeds, kerkez error v palace, salah/gakpoo ineffectiveness throughout, vvd poor defending v spurs & wolves.
I disagree with the "it was coming" takes on the Tottenham equalizer. Rewatching the second half, what was actually "coming" is a second Liverpool goal on the break that would've killed the game. This is outcome-based reasoning, not analysis
@lfcmike__ not mesmerising at all if you look at context & nuance though. trent & diaz leaving left huge replacing individual & system. jota rip. add to that opposition changing style distinctly, a few individuals underperforming (some massively is salah). the amount 400m says nout alone
@eddiegibbs@michael_reid11@HendrickD82 you have this backwards though, watching other teams play liverpool is boring. everyone is playing the xG advantage game. teams know their best chance is to drop deep with two low banks and play direct with counter attacks. its the low blocks that make the game boring
The BBC compiled evidence that Israel has been deliberately sniping children in the head & chest.
*Over 60% of murdered children revealed this pattern of injury.*
You people lie like you breathe.
@SamMcGuire90 perhaps to do also w a substantial change in personnel? loss of trent & diaz has impacted dynamic build up massively, & likely a knock on effect on salah. salah is the least malleable into different systems, and has no defensive input. attacking numbers off a cliff. fair to drop.

But the Minister for Transport is opening… a new lift.
Yes, a lift.
You can't play 4-4-1-1 with Mo Salah. You can't play 2 up top with Mo Salah. You can't play 3 at the back with Mo Salah. The only formation you can play is 4-3-3. And if that isn't working (when you've invested in Wirtz, Isak and Hugo), then something was always going to have to give.
Not a fan of this at all
If you don’t know why relationship with manager not what it was & changed since summer - maybe ask him & not the press
“I don’t have to go every day fighting for my position I’ve earned it”…
Oh right well that means Rushie plays centre forward vs Inter on Tuesday then!!!
That’s not how it works at Liverpool. Ronnie Moran used to put a box in the dressing room in the summer after winning the title & say
1) if you think you deserve one take one
2) AND it means nothing this season
You start again from zero
Hansen’s last words before the players went out of dressing room before every game was “we stick together”
It came from the boot room.
On & off the pitch you stick together
This is not sticking together or what a senior player should be doing at any club
Is Salah a major issue amongst all the problems?
Of course not!
Responding in this manner at a time like this is not on for me personally
Salah has publicly picked a battle with the manager/club. I don’t like that. He’s thrown the club under the bus if anything talking like that. Thoughts? 🤔
I’m nearly 50. I don’t use TikTok. I listen to NPR Morning Edition and read the Financial Times daily. I’m a lawyer who has worked on Israel-Palestine issues for the last 20 years. The evidence I’ve seen that Israel committed atrocities including genocide in Gaza is overwhelming.
A video has ignited questions over the impartiality of British policing after a man holding a placard reading “I oppose Palestine Action I support genocide” approached officers and asked why he was not being arrested despite police detaining people carrying Palestine Action signs
@markrstats certainly not, but perhaps some of them? complete lack of penetration and directness in build up, esp sinze diaz left. salah doesnt defend. so perhaps semenyo as RW brings better penetration and strength in defence on the right. as well as (perhaps most importantly) aerial input!

@beth_lindop the 'up for it chatter' always comes out when people have no insight my goodness. we quietened haaland to his lowest non-pen-xG, salah/gakpo missed big chances. vvd goal wrongly wiped. there was enough there, city stronger tactically, but it wasnt a walk in the park for them
@TheAnfieldWrap salah cant beat a man to save his life atm. 2 city's full backs so isolated, surely putting two wingers up against them who can stand them up & take them on would have caused issues. instead wirtz dropping & salah meek meant we had nowhere to go. overloaded centrally /2
@TheAnfieldWrap im only seeing this now, ironic how it played out and again this central dominance crushed us tactically. i would suggest that gakpo over wirtz (w robbo behind because fck me he cant play w kerkez) & arguably chiesa/rio over salah could have caused more problems. /1 ...
