@EricLDaugh These are easy to build. All you need is a rechargeable battery, a series of voltage doublers, and some ingenuity to make contacts. Back in the 70s, I had a book that explained how to make a taser-like device that would "cause flesh to explode and burn."
Fellow introverts, itβs my birthday today.
I guess this is the one day I can ask for something.
Iβve been trying hard to grow this page for 6 years and we still havenβt even touched 50k.
Just need a little push from you all.
RT this if any of my posts ever felt relatable, and help me connect with more introverts.
Thank You!
@Oceanbreeze473 One of my favorite foods. I'll have some later tonight, with homegrown tomatoes, chopped spring onions, and a little coarse-ground pepper. BTW, it helps with the frequent runs to the toilet that come with taking Eliquis.
TOMORROW: on August 12: six planets at dawn, an eclipse at dusk and Perseids meteor shower peaks with dark new moon.
Four events in one day. The six-planet parade comes first, before sunrise, with Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, Uranus, Saturn and Neptune spread wide across the sky.
Then the total solar eclipse. Totality runs over Greenland, Iceland and northern Spain. The UK gets a deep partial instead, up to 96% covered, per BBC Sky at Night. Certified glasses the entire time.
Then the Perseids peak, with a new Moon meaning no moonlight to wash them out.
