Wow! What a day to remember the 53,000 people who went to watch womenβs football 100 years ago today
Thank you #DKLadies100 you paved for girls and women like me to play the sport we love β€οΈ
This is Sumaya. She has been locked up at home for 491 days, banned from going to school or university by the Taliban.
She pleads the world to listen. She begs Afghan girls to try & learn any way they can at home, so that they can rise and stand up for their basic human rights.
@exilefromgroggs@LeeAndersonMP_ Do you think that includes the blonde man in the picture getting subsidised food, travel etc and not working in his constituency?
@MartinSLewis Yes, grudgingly only because we knew this might be an issue & therefore we need more urgent investment in Green energy from our government & stop relying on non renewable energy sources
But definitely the principle of trying to not use unnecessary energy is great! Yes happily π
Dear British Press,
There is nothing in Prince Harryβs autobiography as scandalous as the implosion of our NHS.
So please report on the things which are actually important
Thanks
Rob (a non spare a&e Dr)
(Please retweet if you would like the press to change their focus)
@theAliceRoberts I totally agree! Private services where money runs straight through the NHS and into private companies is inefficient. The profits donβt go back into the public purse for reinvestment and you donβt get the benefit of purchasing power
@grantshapps This is happening in every trust at every urgent care and A&Eβ¦ this cannot happen! We need action now! π¨
I have been emailing you for years about our NHS and it is getting worse π
Harrowing words from a senior emergency medicine doctor showing the despair at not being able to provide the level of care every doctor hopes to for their patients. Every doctor, nurse & HCW can empathise with this right now.
Shared w/ permission. Pls RT to get this out there.
@Maria4CarmsEast@NHSActivistRN I am sure the only bits left which are not privitised are the nurses and doctors
We donβt want to stop privitisation, we need to reverse it
