@AllenFrancesMD In some ways CSB is helpful in that it makes it very difficult for so-called 'sex addicts' to be pathologised AND challenges the conceptualisation of sexual behaviours being addictive.
@DrGemmaGraham Why would you post this? I appreciate that you’ve found yourself in a challenging situation which I imagine has been quite distressing, but why post the account and also the message? I’d take down this woman’s profile name and picture.

@NorwoodIFT@WilsonAndrewDr@DrGoblin3 @drammarahughes I was responding to suggestion that any HCP (except a medical doctor) using a Dr title is inappropriate and unethical. As you say, context is key.
@NorwoodIFT@WilsonAndrewDr@DrGoblin3 @drammarahughes I agree. Just to clarify, I’m not supportive of a physician associate calling themselves ‘Dr’ as this isn’t a qualification that is required for that role.
@DrGoblin3@FunctionsZeta@WilsonAndrewDr @drammarahughes Well we don’t have to agree. I think excluding health professionals whose core qualification is a doctorate (it’s not an optional add on for us in the UK) from using their rightful professional title isn’t right. Maybe we should all ditch our prefix and use job title.
@FunctionsZeta@WilsonAndrewDr@DrGoblin3 @drammarahughes I don’t agree. None of my patients think I’m medically qualified - they think I’m a clinical psychologist. My colleagues and I are not misleading anyone.
