@StephStradley I don't mean disrespect I was giving you my fans point of view. I should have been clear. This was my opinion as a fan that felt very invested at the time. But knowing someone personally would most likely create a very different point of view.
@jonmalexander I hope you are correct. You can't replace the leadership and drive he brings to the locker room. Plus he leads by example on the field. He does not get chosen as the man of the year by the team if the owners don't want him here. Seams like it would be a hard sale for nick.
@TheCoreyBarrett Because in order for the offense to get better the O-Line needs a sizeable upgrade. The guys who would be a sizable upgrade are now gone. We saw what Chicago was able to do with the O-Line last year. We know it's possible. But instead he continues to invest in the D-Line
@DDelgattoNFL@nestagraphics I think Nick has been keeping cap space in 27 and 28 open for the WAJ and CJ deals. Now that he has a better idea what those deals might look like he can start using some of that space now.
@Djbienaime If you look at next year's cap numbers. The Texans will be 160 mil under the cap. The WAJ and CJ extensions will fall into that very well. So I don't think that day is coming for the Texans because they are not just recklessly mortgaging their future.
