C64U w/turbo (at low turbo) & weeks/months of testing just was not reliable. So a uIEC arrived today & so far things seem faster, more reliable (knock on wood) a lot more partitions too, have high hopes!

@NigelWa64406134 @RetroTechChris That was the best part of real ol HP laserjets. You could repair them. Now they are... well this is a family channel so wont say. ;) The Laserjet 4 was my favorite and most reliable that lived way beyond its expectancy. It was not till recently we parted ways.

I finished video 3 in my series on modern beginning assembly language programmin for the #commodore64 last night. The series is aimed at beginners and in part 3 we modify the "hello world" program to be able to move the text around on screen with the cursor keys, and change the text color, border color and background color using the keyboard.

Next step, in part 4 we start putting Sprites on the screen.

@CptSparky360 Respects on real hardware. The A500 in my book is the most solid and amaging amiga. Though my first was the A1000 which Mrs. 8-Bit bought me when we were dating back in the day. I still have that machine and use it. It is the most cherished retro and current computer i have!

@CharlesHawn66 Truely one of the best monitors! I still have my original that was new in box xmas 1985 and a few others I collected back in the late 80's. they are king of monitors. Even the top rated new channel out here still has a few working still in their studio for weather monitors.
