Thanks to @NitroRad's recommendation, I just played through Super Kiwi 64 from @SIACTRO.
Turns out, 3D collectathon platformers are actually pretty fun when they're bite-sized and have snappy controls.
1 sitting. 1 hour. 1 fun.
I just played through Gel-Tank from @koki_thlal, an arcade-style shooter with hints of Metal Slug and Blaster Master.
Multiple vehicles to control, lots of upgrades, cute characters, nonstop explosions. Recently translated to English.

And as soon as I posted this, my account got flagged. This is literally just a place where I share fun video game stuff, but it might also be "platform manipulation".
I've already cut way back on posting here, but maybe that's not enough.
Sorry none of you will see this.
I've owned Final Fantasy 6 since it first came out, and I got pretty far in the game, but I never actually finished it.
Today that changed as I replayed via the Pixel Remaster version and finally managed to take down Kefka!
It's a total classic and the remaster is gorgeous!!
For those in the mood for an atmospheric point-and-click horror adventure, there's a new Midnight Scenes game from Octavi Navarro (@pixelshuh).
Battle your demons in Midnight Scenes: A Safe Place, released today on Itch: https://t.co/ENPPO24hWe

Take the nostalgic joyride back to the N64 collectathon era that true gamers will remember

I just played the Pepper Grinder demo and WOW!
Immediately fun gameplay, lots of clever uses for the drill, currency rewards and hidden pickups for advanced play, and it's very zippy!
I loved it (maybe more than Drill Dozer).👀 Grab it soon from @Ahr_Ech & @devolverdigital.
I'm pretty excited that Ninja Five-O is getting a re-release. I own the cart on GBA and I've played through it multiple times.
I love grappling hook games, and this is one of the best!
Also, I wrote a huge article about it back when 8 Bit Horse was new: https://t.co/u62s3aKcZH
I just played 20 Small Mazes from @FLEBpuzzles and this is by far the best maze-themed game I've played (honestly they're usually terrible).
The interface is a core part of the experience with its own clever surprises.
It's free on Steam if you have an hour and want to smile.
Gotta admit, I bought Castlevania Anniversary Collection just so I could play Kid Dracula.
It's very charming, and you get lots of neat powers, but there aren't many excuses to put them to use. It plays a lot like a classic Mega Man game.
Decided to play Journey to Silius via Switch Online. This one was pretty tough (and too many cheap hits), and that's coming from someone who beat Blaster Master on the NES...
Rewind feature turns this into a 30-minute romp. Good shooting, good music, dark tone, meh platforming.
I just played through The Mysterious Murasame Castle via Switch Online. It's basically a super fast-paced Legend of Zelda (NES).
It minimizes exploration and puzzle-solving while maximizing the number and speed of enemies. You gotta run full speed most of the time to win!
#ToxicTomb is out! ☢️

Have a nice Blue Monday :_}
After finishing Soulblazer and Illusion of Gaia, I decided to give Terranigma a go. I just finished it, and it's my favorite of this spiritual trilogy.
Solid story and combat, and gorgeous visuals. It's a shame this one never came out in the US. We missed out on a great game!!
