@pkwriterly Take heart in knowing that your focus will help you finish, which is an accomplishment even experienced writers struggle with. Ideas will come. Write them down as soon as they pop up.
@SusanSavageLee1 Querying, that is until your manuscript is as tight as it's ever going to be. No sense in worrying about a phase you're not ready for anyway.
@DNicholsAuthor If I read a book and think, this is brilliant; I can't do that, I will take notes and try to learn HOW they did what they did. Hopefully, I can add that to my repertoire.

@TJHall81 I find my brain is only meh when I've been toiling away on one project for a long time. But there has to be an idea in the back of your mind you've wanted to work on. So write that. It will restart your enthusiasm & unblock whatever is blocking you.
