Belated thanks to my pal Doug for this wonderful patch he sent me. As you all may know, Doug parachuted into Normandy this June for the D-Day 75th, carrying with him the book (Eight Seconds) I had written about my dad's experiences on D-Day.

My good pal Doug Moodie took my book about my dad to France this week and parachuted it into Normandy today! I had planned to do the jump, but my back wouldn't let me! Thanks to Doug my dad got there again!

On D-Day, my dad dropped into Normandy with Lt Colonel Terence Otway and the British 6th Airborne's 9th Battalion. I've written & illustrated my dad's story in my new book 'Eight Seconds' (which is published and on Amazon). We will never forget them
