@virginmedia An engineer has been already booked for Monday. Meanwhile the BQM continues to show ongoing external drops, and the Hub log producing serious RCS partial or SYNC time failure messages:

@virginmedia I have perfect endpoint visibility of every device in my local network and I see the latency/packet loss associated with these spikes that disrupt everything. If multiple people are reporting same peculiar/identical issue, clearly that’s not a customer problem.
@virginmedia I appreciate you’re trying to help, but what added value setting up a BQM graph provides here apart from putting the responsibility of proving the problem on the customer for the service you charge to provide?
@virginmedia Running barebones Hub 3 at the moments and issue is still there. I tied to explain to your rep the outcome would be this but they wouldn’t listen. By the way, this is not a new issue, it’s been 1+ weeks, it’s just so much worse today.
@virginmedia As explained by OP, random throughout the day, interrupting everything that is connected either wirelessly or patched through a cable. Momentary drops followed by high latency 1300+ ms. Enough to disrupt any active tunnels for those who are working from home.
@virginmedia This exact same problem. Your customer rep made me rip out my entire network setup today blaming it on external devices even after I told them I knew it wasn’t since I ran the basic troubleshooting steps about 5 times, isolating everything and narrowing down to Hub 3.
@virginmedia How come in most of the UK over past few weeks internet goes down momentarily and comes back, both on wifi and ethernet, almost like DNS drops out? are you guys doing infrastructure changes or is something else at play?
@virginmedia @RobbyBeatboxer Customer service essentially is trying to explain networking to IT professionals on the phone, blaming 3rd party devices, and anything else they can think of in a word salad to pass the buck to the customer.
@virginmedia @RobbyBeatboxer This is not a browser or local network stack issue. It’s been going on for a while but today reached new heights about 20+ disruptions. Happens with pin reset Hub on default settings, wireless or wired connection, on any connection capable device. Your status page basically lies.
@riskybusiness@halvarflake Worth noting impedance, even 80Ω can feel quiet on less powerful (e.g. mobile) devices. Usually requires higher than usual volume to properly drive.
The grand chamber of the European Court of Human Rights ruled that bulk interception and data sharing with foreign partners is not illegal, but the current regime lacks authorization by an independent body and safeguards for individual search terms: https://t.co/p2jmHFVGb9
