#PalmSunday 🌿
In Wales, villages trimmed and adorned the graves of their dead relatives on Palm Sunday.
The sides of the graves were raised up with fresh turf, and fresh earth was placed on the surface; the stones were whitewashed, and women planted rosemary and rue 🌷

Did you know that @AmgueddfaCymru has over 5 million natural history specimens in its collections?
These collections along with the expertise of the staff that look after and research them are an invaluable resource in monitoring environmental & climate change 🐯🕷️🪱🐌🦋🦀🦕🌼💎
Museum Curators @AmgueddfaCymru support students to reach their full potential.
We share transferable and specialist skills through the collections.
Our students shadow us in our daily work, learning what goes on behind the scenes of a national museum.
The collections @AmgueddfaCymru need to be cared for by expert staff.
They make them accessible across Cymru & the world, and carry out vital research in recognising & monitoring the diversity of animal and plant life.
