@anddaws@IanRunkle AI can't do script like that.
It's likely a camera with some sort of stabilization (can be done physically with special mounts or lenses, and also internally via software).
@camels101@baseballot@greggiroux But, again, this is so far removed from today's situation it's ridiculous. It happened so long ago both men have since died. It's got absolutely nothing in common with Grijalva at all.
@camels101@baseballot@greggiroux And Trump doesn't have authority to demolish the White House, but the East Wing is still gone.
Republicans and Democrats made an agreement and the recount happened. Interestingly, after that, Republicans asked for a new election instead of holding strong for McIntyre's win.
@camels101@baseballot@greggiroux I can't and won't even say McCloskey won or that Dems were totally fine. It's just a wild situation that happened 40 years ago, never before or since. It's the definition of an outlier event.
@camels101@baseballot@greggiroux Clear as can be... if you skip the first part where McCloskey was considered the winner for a month until a tabulation error was found and if you skip the federal recount where McCloskey won by 4. Again, this was an insane outlier of a situation and was never clear.
@polyfraggrenade I sewed an anti-swastika back patch on my hoodie when I was 16 (2002). People called me a socialist like a slur before I knew what socialism was.
@atrupar Ted Cruz thinks Israel is at least 10 extra American states, and he represents all of them.
I wonder how Texas feels, knowing he values a foreign country more than the state that elected him.
@DecodingFoxNews 66% of SNAP recipients receive benefits for 2yrs or less. The idea of a fixed group who can be "lifted out" but are totally stuck is over-exaggerated. That happens when benefits are strict with very low income requirements--that leads to income gaps people can't jump.
@KyleSeraphin So, what's your point? Why do I keep seeing people point back to things that were already disapproved of as a response to it happening on an even larger scale now? It looks like an attempt at a "gotcha" while also side-stepping critique of the current administration.
@stevegrubershow@DecodingFoxNews The highest number of homicides probably will happen in areas with the highest number of people. You need to look at per capita numbers to compare areas with different population sizes.
@KyleSeraphin Cool. Conservatives hated this (and Liberals were hardly impressed). Why does this justify it still happening? I thought we were draining the swamp, stopping fraud/waste/abuse, and all that?
@DecodingFoxNews They can't quite fathom that any percentage of a small number of people is still a small number of people.
Also, taking the list as fact, only undocumented people went over 50%, so a majority of the people in the groups listed don't receive SNAP benefits.
