Up-cycling win. leftover scraps from making my Drum Bunnies are the perfect size to patchwork into hair scrunchies. First, gifts to friends, colleagues and favorite farmers market vendors. Then I may start wholesaling these to the local boutiques.

@EddieTrunk As a musician who sells various formats of my recordings, CDs are so much easier to transport to gigs than giant fragile vinyls. They cost 1/10th for me to make. It was a real disappointment when fans started wanting vinyls instead of CDs. I am glad this is turning around.

Five on Black is one of my favorite quick healthy eats in Missoula. But with wages only $13/hr, I see why they might not catch it right away when someone chops Italian parsley instead of cilantro for the toppings.
(Minimum wage for parsley/cilantro differentiation clearly higher)

@BowTiedBroke Where I live in Montana they love to spray all that toxic red stuff all over the burning areas as well. I wonder how long the flame retardants persist in the soil. I wouldn't want to live in a place where those chemicals had been dumped.

I've been making my own bias tape and I highly recommend. It's a little extra work but wow the results. Skirt hems don't blow up in the wind or when I ride my bike or dance. Look for the tutorials that show you how to make one continuous strip out of a square.

Prayers for our neighbors in Spokane. We have a brief respite from the heat wave but that brings more winds to our drought-stricken area. This is not going to end anytime soon.
