Xabi Alonso needs to understand that having a philosophy doesn't mean being stubborn. You can't keep forcing the same tactics against every opponent and expect different results.

Why wasn't Welbeck starting? Why play Quenda instead of Estêvão? A manager must learn to adapt his formation, make the right selection for each game, and get the best out of the squad.

And the discipline? Absolutely unacceptable. Too many unnecessary cards and poor decisions.

A good manager has a philosophy. A great manager knows when to adapt. Xabi needs to learn that difference.
