‘Too Little, Too Late?'

Kerala's new draft IT policy is like an attempt to apply a fresh coat of paint to an old building. Labeling it as 'new' and 'liberalized' cant hide the fact that #Kerala which was once upon a time a pioneer in #IT and #Electronics has seen its early start frittered away by corrupt #CONgress politics and #CPMs violence & empty promises.

Thus, the "new draft" policy can’t hide that CM @pinarayivijayan's scam-ridden govt failed to fulfill the lofty promises it made in 2017 when the IT policy was initially introduced by the same government and CM.

Where are the 2,50,000 jobs promised back then? Where are the IT parks that were promised then? Where is the 10 million square feet of built-up space for IT/ITeS?

Any responsible or dedicated government would have prioritized focusing on creating more opportunities for the youth. But sadly, this is not a priority for both #CONgress and #CPM, who were allies for 10 years in the UPA and now in the INDI alliance.

It's no surprise that the Malayali youth continue to leave Kerala in search of opportunities elsewhere in India or abroad. How long can this continue?

The Kerala Government and the CM should step forward to present the report card of IT achievements, starting from the 2017 policy statement up to the present day, for the public to see the true picture and the opportunities lost to Kerala in the last 10 years.

This latest draft policy is a decade late, and many opportunities have been lost.

But I hope this is not too little, too late and another 2017 like gimmick.

A suprising incident took place in Kerala.

Leader of #HamasTerrorist Khaled Mashael had virtually addressed the youth of Kerala, and had received unconditional support, as well as anti-Hindu slogans were raised during the event. "UprootHindutva" was the main slogan!

The Youth Division of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind receives backing from the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the Indian National Congress.

It is evident that Congress and Hamas had joined hands to "uproot hindutva".
